Artworks from our Sustainable Art-making workshop

We invited teachers, facilitators and art practitioners looking for interesting ideas to implement in their classes or work to this workshop on Sustainable Art-making on 14 March.

More about the Sustainable Art-making workshop

We have developed a workshop with the aim to inspire participants to think differently about everyday objects and ‘junk’ that can be used in artworks. This workshop was an experiential play space where participants got to create art using reuse, repurpose, recycle principles. The workshop was facilitated by Sandra Greeff (Remedial therapist, Community Art Counsellor and Art teacher) and Rozanne Myburgh (Drama Therapist).

I enjoyed the workshop – it was informative and engaging. Lots of fun and very hands on. A fun mess!

Everything has a purpose in life. Even those we think are at their end can be repurposed to something living, beautiful and alive.
