Scratch art using wax colours and acrylic paint

Scratch Art – #wellnesswednesday

Make some scratch art using wax colours and acrylic paint. Our #WellnessWednesday activities are fun, quick art-making activities for all ages. Activity and artwork by Community Art Counsellor, Alisa Ray.

“The Wound is the Place where the Light enters You” Rumi. Cover an A5 page with different colours using wax crayons. Make sure to cover all of the white page. Use a soft bristled brush and cover your whole page in black acrylic paint. Wait for the paint to dry and using a skewer stick or a toothpick see what is revealed. Think of your hopes and dreams for the future while you engage with this process.
